Oregon State Capitol

So I took a trip for St. Patrick's Day to visit a friend at college. We decided that since the 18th was such a gorgeous day that we would visit the state capitol and take some pictures! It was a fantastic day to enjoy the weather, the scenery and the company. Hope you enjoy!

Beach!

Spent the weekend at the beach with my family and a group of girls from a nearby college that were there for a retreat weekend. It was a weekend with beautiful weather and I definitely took advantage of that on Saturday with a trip to the Northhead Lighthouse and Waikiki beach. It was FANTASTIC! So here are a few pictures from the weekend.

I haven't posted on here much this week because I was working on getting the site up and running. But I am here to share some pictures that I have been playing with on picnik.com this is something different for me because I usually just go with the raw photographs. So here are a few. Enjoy:)

another day another walk

Went for another walk in the park today, but I got to take part of the family this time. It was a gorgeous day and the park was full of people. So I took some pictures.

just a walk in the park...

So I decided that I needed to see what was going on in the world, and what should I find....the end of winter and the beginning of spring! I was smiling the whole time. The park was full of happy people enjoying the sunny weather. It was by no means warm but warm enough to be outside with a light jacket. It was GORGEOUS! I always forget how much I love spring in the Pacific Northwest. It is so bright and happy! Bright yellow daffodils and dark purple crocuses and iris's. Such a lovely thing to see.
OH! and I learned that Mother Goose lives in the local pond:)

So I haven't felt much like going out to take any pictures the last few days as I have been trying to get over this cold. But I have some others from my weekend at the beach that I would love to share.



A house in a small small town nearby that turned out much better than I had planned. I love how it looks all dark and a little spooky even though it was a very nice day outside.
